Use InZeWishBox on the web
InZeWishBox is also available from a browser, with nothing to install — handy for managing your context from a computer.
Address
Open https://web.inzewishbox.com/ in any modern browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge — desktop or mobile).
The web version works like WhatsApp Web: your phone remains the source of truth. The browser shows a QR, you scan it from the app on your phone (master or Connect), and the browser becomes one more paired device.
Prerequisites
- You already have InZeWishBox installed on your phone (master or Connect) with at least one context created or paired.
- Cross-Internet sync is enabled on the phone (default: yes — Preferences → Synchronization).
- Both the phone and the browser have an Internet connection (the QR travels through the blind Cloudflare relay).
Connection procedure
- On your computer, open https://web.inzewishbox.com/. A QR code is displayed, along with a validity countdown (≈ 60 s — it auto-refreshes).
- On your phone, open InZeWishBox (master or Connect).
- Drawer ☰ → Connect a web device (or Scan a QR on some versions).
- Biometric authentication if requested (fingerprint / Face Unlock).
- Tap Scan with camera and grant access. Frame the QR shown on screen.
- Compare the displayed fingerprint — 4 words identical on the browser and the phone (e.g. tiger · banana · stairs · violin). If they match, tap Confirm.
- The browser receives your encrypted context, decrypts locally, and shows the dashboard. Done.
This comparison protects against a man-in-the-middle attack: if someone tried to intercept your QR to pair their own browser instead, the words would not match. If they don't match, refuse and regenerate a QR.
What can you do in the web version?
The same things as on the phone — the UI adapts to a wide screen, but the feature scope is the same:
- Dashboard, balances, history.
- Action creation and validation (master mode).
- Validation and dispute of incoming actions (Connect mode).
- Manage beneficiaries, tasks, rewards, contexts (master mode).
- Preferences, language, theme.
The role (master or Connect) is determined by the phone that scanned the QR. If you scanned from master, you have master powers; if you scanned from Connect, you have Connect permissions.
Does my data stay in the browser?
Yes — the web version stores your encrypted database locally (IndexedDB). You can close the tab and reopen it later without re-scanning — as long as you don't clear the site data and the session hasn't expired.
If you use a shared computer, remember to log out using the ⏻ button in the top right of the app before leaving. This action wipes the encrypted database from the browser. You can re-connect by re-scanning a QR from your phone.
Current limits (P6.W)
- No push notifications yet (the phone remains the primary device for alerts).
- No standalone PWA installable yet — for now, just a browser tab. PWA mode is coming in a future iteration.
- Limited offline sync: the web version needs network to sync with the phone (no local Wi-Fi nor Bluetooth — only the blind Cloudflare relay).
Common issues
The QR doesn't scan.
Check lighting, camera cleanliness, and that you frame the whole QR. If the camera refuses, some phones allow manual QR content paste (drawer → Scan a QR → "Paste content manually" field).
The 4 words don't match.
Refuse the pairing and regenerate a new QR (button Regenerate QR in the browser). If it happens again, it's likely a display bug — reload the web page and retry. If it persists, contact support@inzemobile.com.
The browser lost my data.
Browsers may purge IndexedDB on space pressure, or if you use private mode / a cleanup extension. Don't worry: re-scan a QR from your phone and the browser will reload everything. Your real data is safe on the phone.
Multiple tabs / multiple computers?
You can pair as many browsers as you want, on as many computers as you want. Each one appears in the Paired devices list on the phone, where you can unpair them individually.
