Scan a pairing QR

The QR code links you to a context (family, class, club). You can scan multiple QRs to join multiple contexts.

Before scanning

Ask the master (parent / coach / teacher) to generate the QR from their app: Beneficiaries → your name → Pair this device.
Check that both of you are on the same Wi-Fi OR that cross-Internet sync is enabled (enabled by default on both sides).
Your phone must have camera access. If not granted, the app will ask at scan time.

Scan procedure

Open InZeWishBox Connect.
On first launch, you land directly on the scan screen. Otherwise: drawer ☰ → QR validation.
Tap Scan with camera. Grant access if asked.
Frame the master's QR inside the scan square. Detection is automatic, instant.
A green message appears: "✓ Pairing validated for [context name]". The pairing is saved and a new card appears on your dashboard — no extra validation needed.

Security fingerprint

The app also shows 4 fingerprint words (e.g. tiger · banana · stairs · violin). You can quickly compare them with what's displayed on the master's side to confirm it's the right person. If the words don't match, do the scan again in front of the master — someone might be trying to inject a different QR.

Manual entry (if the camera doesn't work)

If your phone's camera refuses to work, the master can send you the QR contents as text (by message, for example). Paste this text into the "Paste QR contents manually" field under the scan button, then tap Verify. The rest follows the same procedure.

Scan multiple QRs to join multiple contexts

You can scan as many QRs as you want. Each scanned QR adds a context to your list — it doesn't overwrite previous ones. On your dashboard, all contexts are stacked (family + school + club…). See My contexts → to reorder or leave one.

If you're re-paired (new phone, etc.)

When you change phones or reinstall the app, the master can generate a new QR for you. Just re-scan it as the 1^st time. The old device is no longer paired automatically (the master can also unpair it manually).

Connect a browser (web version)
