Pair a Connect device
Give a child their own InZeWishBox Connect device — they will see their balance and validate/dispute the actions concerning them.
Prerequisites
- The master has already created the beneficiary in the app.
- The child's device has InZeWishBox Connect installed (free; currently in internal testing — public Play Store launch coming soon).
- Both devices are on the same Wi-Fi OR cross-Internet sync is enabled in Preferences (enabled by default).
master side: generate the QR
- Drawer ☰ → Beneficiaries → tap the beneficiary.
- In the card, scroll down to Paired device.
- Tap Pair this device. A QR code is displayed.
- Keep the screen open while the child scans.
Connect side: scan the QR
- The child opens InZeWishBox Connect.
- Drawer ☰ → QR validation (or onboarding screen on first launch).
- Tap Scan with camera and grant camera access.
- Frame the master's QR. The pairing is validated instantly — no extra button to tap.
- The 4 fingerprint words are shown on screen — verify them against the master's QR (see callout below).
Verify that the 4 fingerprint words shown on Connect match those shown on the master's QR. This check protects against a man-in-the-middle attack. If they don't match, unpair from the master side and start over.
Re-pair a device
Several reasons: phone change, app reinstall, adding a 2nd device for the same child.
- On the master side, open the beneficiary's card.
- Section Paired device → tap Re-pair (new phone, reinstall…).
- A new QR is generated; follow the scan procedure above on the Connect side.
Unpair (revoke)
- On the master side, beneficiary card → Unpair this device.
- The old Connect device no longer receives sync for this beneficiary. It may still see it for a few minutes (delayed sync).
Synchronization: how does it work?
Both devices sync end-to-end encrypted via:
- Local Wi-Fi (mDNS discovery, direct transfer between devices on the same network)
- Bluetooth proximity (BLE, automatic when devices are within range)
- Blind Cloudflare relay (by default, for cases where devices are on different networks — parent at office, child at home)
No InZeMobile server sees the content of your data — encryption uses a context key shared only between your paired devices.
You can disable the cloud relay in Preferences → Synchronization to stay strictly local.
Pair a browser (web version)
You can also use InZeWishBox from a browser at https://web.inzewishbox.com/. The browser shows a QR, and your master phone scans it (WhatsApp Web model). Full procedure on the Web version → page.
